Pre-requisites:

- Now boot your device into TWRP Recovery.
- Before installing Wipe System Data on TWRP Recovery (DO NOT WIPE INTERNAL STORAGE)

- reboot to system, then again recovery and then you can follow the same guide to flash the Gapps file on your phone.

How To Update LG G3 D855 To Android 5.1 Lollipop With CyanogenMod 12.1 Custom ROM
Note: This CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM build is designed for the LG G3 D855 variant only. Do not try installing the ROM on other variants or other devices because you can end up bricking your phone.

Preparations
Check the battery level percentage and make sure that it is above 70%.
Install LG G3 TWRP custom recovery.

Flashing ROM
- Download the ROM and Gapps on your computer or your phone. If you have downloaded them on your PC, connect your phone and transfer the zip files to the internal storage.
- Press the power button to turn the phone off.
- Press the volume down and power buttons and do not release them until the LG logo appears. Press them again until the phone displays the Hard Reset menu.
- In recovery, wipe data and perform a factory reset to clean the phone.
- Select and flash the CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM and then Lollipop Gapps.
