The Best Episodes of Running Man #1 - Grasshopper Hunting. #2 - The Best Part-Time Job. #3 - Return of Yoomes Bond. #4 - The Best Running Man #2. #5 - Running Man Athletic Tournament. #6 - Search for the Little Girl. #7 - The Avengers. #8 - Couple Race. #9 - Running Man in Wonderland. She might not be the most memorable of guests as she has only appeared in two episode (consecutive episodes) - though she could very well be the best spy guest on Running Man. Completely fooling and manipulating Yoo Jae Suk and Gary, with her adorable 'innocent-bipolar' behaviour that even frustrated the national MC, whilst actually controlling. SISTAR on the Running Man Series. Running Man is one of the most popular variety shows in South Korea, and almost every episode has a pretty high rating. Originally, the series consisted of 7 people: JaeSuk, HaHa, JiHyo, JongKook, Gary, SukJin, and KwangSoo.
Throughout the history of Running Man, special series have progressed with storytelling and movie-like episodes. Many of these series have been praised for their thrill and excitement, and are considered some of the more higher quality episodes of Running Man.[1]

Special series[edit]
Yoo-mes Bond[edit]
The Yoo-mes Bond series is famous for its protagonist, Yoo Jae-suk as Yoo-mes Bond, who is known to use a water gun to eliminate his foes to complete his missions. This series features Yoo Jae-suk against the other Running Man members, who do not know Yoo Jae-suk's identity or mission. At the end of both episodes 91 and 140, the words 'Yoo-mes Bond Never Die' appeared, hinting at future episodes in the series. These two episodes have been praised for being like a movie instead of a variety show.[2][3]

The 'Best of the Best Matches' take place once in a while as the opportunity to decide who is the best 'Running Man'.

Running Man-Grasshopper Hunting[edit]
'Running Man Hunter' is an epithet given to Choi Min-soo who is tasked to eliminate the Running Man members. There is a rivalry between him and Yoo Jae-suk, who betrayed him during his first attempt in the mission. Since then, he had return to appear in the program to hunt the members and always leave Yoo Jae-suk to be the last surviving member.

At the end of the episode 118, Choi Min-soo hinted at a possible return to the Running Man Hunter series in the future.
Running Man Olympics[edit]
The Running Man members competes with guests and each other in order to win the 'Olympic' battle.

Running Man Football[edit]
The Running Man members were given a chance to participate in charity football matches alongside Park Ji-sung. Each year, the members would participate in training missions with Park Ji-sung to prepare for the football game prior to the match.

Tru-Gary Show[edit]
Gary, who is gullible and unable to lie, has been asking the production staff to give him a spy mission. However, when the production staff decided to give him the mission, they decided to trick him and created hidden camera episodes instead.

I recently found myself on a Running Man marathon of my favourite past episodes and came up with an idea to catalogue them. Everyone knows Running Man has a 'variety' :wink: of guests, so I decided to make a list of my top 11 favourite episodes that featured idols.
Rules: I judged this based on the overall entertainment level of the episode, chemistry of the guests with RM members, and the difficulty of challenges. Windows 10 settings won't open. :v: :v: NOT on the number of idols :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

11. Episode 248: The Penalty Race
Guests: Amber (fx), Nichkhun (2PM), Park Joon Hyung (g.o.d), Kangnam (M.I.B) & Henry (Super Junior M)
This episode pairs off all the idols with a RM member. In an attempt to avoid the final punishment, the team's compete in a number of events from Nichkun & Amber swimming across the Han River to a simple quiz game that yields hilarious results.
10. Episode 271 & 272: 100 vs.100
Guests: UEE, Got7, Seventeen & Everyone
In this 2 part special you see the RM cast calling everyone they know to help them battle an army of 100 pro athletes. The cuties from Got7 and Seventeen drop by to lend a helping hand and show off some b-boy moves and fast feet alongside an array of comedians, actors, retired athletes, and even former idols. All this is topped off with a brief yet exhilarating performance by GFriend.
9. Episode 209: New Idols vs. Old Idols
Guests: Taemin (Shinee), Kai, Sehun (Exo), Soyou (Sistar), Moon Heejoon (H.O.T), Danny Ahn (g.o.d), & Eun-Jiwon (SechsKies)
Ahhh the new generation vs. the old in a series of events from a Water Polo like game to Korean Wrestling. This episode had me rooting for the old generation to come out on top :joy: :joy:
8. Episode 104: Running Man vs. Idols
Guests: Eunhyuk (Super Junior), Yonghwa (CN Blue), Nichkhun (2PM), Siwan (ZE:A), DooJoon (Beast), EunJung (T-ara) & Lee Joon (MBLAQ)
Coined as the first Idol Olympics, this episode had a team of the very best (plus blackholes Siwan and LeeJoon) competing against the RM members to claim the final gold medals. In the process it yielded some hilarious visuals of Lee Joon being scared out of his mind.
7. Episode 195: I Am MC Yoo
Guests: 2PM & 2NE1 (Eddie Kim is also in this episode, though he doesn't get much screen time)
This episode is one of my all time favourites, not because of the featured idols (although 2PM are always 10 out of 10 **pun intended**), but because of the complete slayage that constitutes Kang Gary and Kim Jong Kook working together on Team 2NE1.
6. Episode 278 & 279: X-Man Collaboration Special
Guests: Seolhyun (AOA), Bobby & B.I (iKon)
Not only does this episode feature the older but just as fun cast of RM's predecessor X-Man, but also a segment in which iKon's Bobby & B.I charm their way into the hearts of the opposing team and viewers through dance and rap. Please, count me in :ok_hand: :ok_hand:
5. Episode 307: Summer Special Couple's Race
Guests: Sistar & Shownu (Monsta X)
The girls of Sistar and Shownu are paired off with the RM members to compete against each other in a series of challenges that will end with the final Name Tag Tearing Battle. Not only are Soyou and Jong Kook hilarious to watch as they try to dominate all rounds, but this episode also gave birth to the unexpected ship of Hyolyn and Gary :joy: :joy:
4. Episode 256: Come Over To My Place
Guests: 2PM & Baek Jin Hee
This episode features a lot of t-shirt tearing and exposed abs, which are two things I'm 100% fine with.
3. Episode 250: Dashing Through Time
Guests: Big Bang
I seriously struggled between this and Episode 163 where G.D, Seungri and Daesung fight their way through mud and water sports, but ultimately settled on this entry because 5 of them ruining their images is greater than 3. They challenge the RM members to a series of hilarious games that result in Taeyang losing his pants and all of of them their images.
2. Episode 40: Petite France
Guests: Nichkhun & Taecyeon (2PM)
These two are some OGs of RM. The variety show helped them maintain the 'Beastly Idol' image by showing them conquer in all things Name Tag Tearing, and creating a game just for them: RM Hunting. This episode features them hunting down the RM members in a French Culture Village, and is such an early episode Song Joongki is still a RM member.

Running Man List
This is the ultimate idol episode with representatives of each listed group battling it out with a member from the RM family to claim the Idol King throne. Not only were all the games hilariously fun to watch, but the idols themselves were giving it their all and claiming no friendships when it came to the crown:
